Monica M. RDH
Monica is a Tennessee native, born in Chattanooga and raised in Dunlap. Although, she’s also lived in Tullahoma, TN for 5 years in between calling Dunlap home. Monica graduated from Chattanooga State’s Dental Hygiene program in 1994 and hasn’t looked back since. Her primary reason for entering the profession of dental hygiene was to be able to help people smile again. “After all, what adds more joy to your own life, as well as others, than a nice warm smile,” states Monica. What she enjoys most about her job is working together with a great team in order to help people have healthier, brighter smiles, therefore adding to the quality of their lives. Monica has been happily married to her husband Willie since 1994. They have a son Ryan, a daughter Jillian, as well as a cat named Cupcake. In her spare time, you’ll find Monica enjoying the wonderful outdoors lifestyle that Tennessee has to offer. Whether it’s hiking, kayaking or swimming, you can bet that she won’t be indoors on the weekends.
Heather B. RDA
Heather is also a Tennessee and Dunlap native. After graduating from Chattanooga State in 2012 as an RDA, she was hurt in an accident, breaking her pelvis and back, along with numerous other injuries. It was a life changing event for her to say the least. Giving her greater perspective and appreciation for the “little things” in life that we can all take for granted at times. Her time away from the office consists of helping her boyfriend (Nick) with his wrecker and trucking business, running heavy equipment (believe it or not), as well as assisting with wrecker calls and mechanic work. She also invests a lot of time and energy into rehabbing her new home. “It’s been quite the long process, especially when you do it ALL yourself,” Heather states. Heather is quite the “handy woman” if you can’t tell.. At home, she also has two “fur babies,” Layla and Asher, who are spoiled rotten (although she blames her Mom for that).
Stacy B. RDA
Also a Tennessee native, Stacy was born in Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, but has called Dunlap home for her entire life. She graduated Chattanooga State Dental Assisting Class in 2000, but has worked in the dental profession since 1997. She’s been happily married to her husband Jimbo for 31 years now, and has two daughters. Heather (26), who also works as a RDA (Registered Dental Assistant), and Faith (17), who is currently a senior at Sequatchie County High School. She is the proud Grandmother of three “granddoggies,” Layla, Asher and Bronc, that she and her family love dearly. Last but certainly not least, she also has three cats, Mittens, and her two babies, Blaze and Gizmo. All are extremely spoiled (to say the least). During her free time Stacy enjoys spending time with family and friends. Whether it’s boating, camping or four wheeling, you’ll find Stacy enjoying the great Tennessee outdoors on the weekends. Stacy’s true heart is in serving and being around other people. She considers herself a “people person” above all else, which is the number one reason she loves working within the field of dentistry.
Teresa M. RDA | Insurance | Front Office
Teresa is another Tennessee native, born in Chattanooga, and raised in the Georgetown and Birchwood areas. Teresa is the renaissance woman of our office, wearing many different hats, and somehow manages to wear them all extremely well. Teresa graduated from Chattanooga State in 1983 as an RDA. She’s been happily married to her husband Anthony for 34 years now, and they have 2 children together, Christopher and Mariah. However, the newest bundle of joy in her life is her 3 year old granddaughter, Emma Gail. Besides her “skin” babies, she also has four rescue “fur babies.” Hotchi (a Pit Bull mix), Itsy (a Manx), Snowball (a Maltipoo), and her favorite being her Yorkie, Dora Belle. In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy doing DIY projects together, “which will test the strength of any marriage” she states.
Lisa E. RDA | Receptionist
Lisa graduated from Dr. Phillips High School (FL) in 1988 and then went on to receive her RDA in 1989. She has been working in the dental profession since graduating with her RDA and hasn’t looked back since. Lisa is originally from sunny Orlando, FL (along with our very own Dr. West) and now lives in Rock Island, TN. Her favorite part about living in Tennessee, “the Southern hospitality.” She is a crazy animal lover, meaning you name the animal, and she probably not only has it, but has a name for it too.. Her favorite weekend activity, barrel racing her horse Snickers!
